  • 2 weeks in advance.

    BUT I have made cakes with a week notice. If I have the availability, I’ll work with you to make it work (* with possible limitations on flavors/order options for short notice orders).

  • I will try to get back to you asap (within 24 hrs). First, I’ll confirm my availability for your order date, then I’ll share my order form with you. Once I receive your completed form, I’ll follow up with an email confirmation. We’ll confirm all of the cake details (happy to schedule a quick consult phone call if you’d like). Then, we’re basically all set! I ask for full payment at least a week prior to the order date but preferred at time of order confirmation (payment is the final confirmation for me). I’ll follow up the week of your order with flower options (if applicable) or any last minute details.

  • GF/DF - yes.

    Vegan - possibly. I’m still in the experimental stage of vegan baking but I can confidently make a really good vanilla bean vegan cake (my vegan friend approved) so if that’s cool with you, I’ll happily do it. I’m working on expanding flavor options for vegan cakes.

  • Yes! To *most* of NYC/parts of NJ for a + delivery fee to cover transportation.

  • All cake flowers are non-toxic and/or edible. You can eat them - they’re food safe but a lot of them don’t taste that great and serve more of a ~decorative element~ role.

    *flowers I source or grow myself are organic/not sprayed with any chemicals or pesticides.

  • I’m an understanding person. If something comes up or someone gets sick - I’m happy to work things out. I’ll offer a full refund if you cancel within 1 week (7 calendar days) before your order (I buy ingredients and flowers the week of). Otherwise, I can always change your order date if you need to cancel but would still like a cake at a future date.

  • Store cakes in the fridge! Remove about 1 hr before serving, to let the buttercream come to room temperature. Depending on your room temp, that may be +/- 1hr, I dunno!

  • YES, just let me know in advance. These cards are little thank you’s from me to you. Every order is truly special and I’m very thankful for the opportunity to bake a special cake for someone but I will of course leave it blank if you are gifting the cake.

  • I do… but to order, at the moment, NO. I am in the works of maybe adding maximalist madeleines or mini tarts to the menu. TBD.
